National Mathematics Day: 22-12-2021
National Mathematics Day was celebrated on 22-12-21 by the students. On this Occasion our secretary and Correspondent Gadde Mangaiah Garu gave speech about the importance of mathematics. Students gave speeches on contributions of different mathematicians for the development of mathematics.
72nd Indian Constitution Day: 26-11-2021.
On 26-11-2021 72nd Indian Constitutional Day was celebrated. On this occasion all the staff and students gathered in the seminar hall took the Constitutional Oath.
Get together Programme: 01-10-2021.
A get together Programme was arranged by 1st and 2nd year students on 01-10-2021 in the assembly hall. Dr Rayapati Srinivas Garu President NES andpOur Secretary & Correspondent Gadde Mangaiah Garu addressed the students and explained about the philosphy of the college management. The Principal and Staff advised the new comers to follow the rules and regulations of the college. The senior students welcomed the newly joined first year students to the college. Seniors and Juniors interacted together. The Seniors advised the juniors about the acadamics and other aspects relating to the college. Lunch was arranged to all the staff and students. After lunch students performed different Cultural Programmes.
Visit to Prabhatha Sindhuri Special School: 16-04-2021.
B.Ed students of 1st and 4th Semesters along with two staff members visited Prabhatha sindhuri School for Special Children situated at Navabharat Nagar, Guntur as a part of their academic activity. There they have observed how special education being imparted to the children with special needs. They also observed the multidisciplinary approach of education and other allied aspects by interacting with teaching staff and students. They came to know about teaching and learning material, physical training techniques, support services etc.,, At the end of the activity, the students distributed biscuit packets to one and all of the institution. They took photographs for record purpose. They thanked the management for support rendered to them for smooth completion of their academic activity.
International Women’s Day Celebrations: 08-03-2021.
Every March 8th is observed as ‘International Women’s Day’. This year also the college celebrated this day in the campus. Students and staff Participated in a big way. This year’s ‘International Women’s Day’ theme is ‘Choose to Challenge 2021’. ‘A challenging world is an alert world and from challenge comes change’ is the idea behind the theme. The staff and students talked about different challenges faced by the women in existing society particularly in the situation of Pandemic covid19.
Visit to APCOST, Regional Science Centre, Vijayawada : 21-02-2021.
As a part of ‘Pedagogy of Physical Sciences’ Practicum work of 3rd semester, the Physical Sciences Methodology Students were visited APCOST, The Regional Science Centre, Vijayawada on 21st February 2021. The staff of science centre explained about the scientific exhibits and displays present there. By this visit the students were enriched their existing knowledge about Science and Technology. The students interacted with exhibits and gained hands on experiences that can be useful in their lives.
Group Discussion on Water Pollution: 09-02-2021.
As a part of ‘Understanding the Self’ Practicum in third semester, we conducted group discussion on ‘Water Pollution’ to 2nd year B.Ed students on 09-02-2021. The students actively participated and discussed about causes, and prevention methods of water pollution. Finally they came up with some good ideas to reduce water pollution.
Republic Day Celebrations: 26-01-2021 .
72nd Republic day was celebrated on 26th January 2021 in the college campus at 8AM. Our Secretary & Correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah Garu hoisted the national flag. He advised the students about the duties of a good citizen and be responsible citizens. The college Principal, Staff and Students Participated in this programme. Sweets were distributed to all the participents.
