  • New Year Day Celebrations: 1-01-2015
    On January 1st, New Year Day was celebrated in a grand Manner. A big cake was cut by Secretary and Correspondent of our College and sweets were distributed to all the members who participated in the event. Principal, Staff and Students exchanged greetings. Our college well wisher, Sri Ravela sambasiva Rao released science calendar which was prepared by our students.

  • Republic Day: 26-1-2015
    68th Republic day was celebrated at our college at 8.00 a.m on 26-1-2015. The national flag was hoisted by our Secretary and Correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah. He advocated the students about the importance of ‘Swatcha Bharat’. Principal, Staff and students were participated in the event. Sweets were distributed to the students.

  • Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah Kalaniketan Patriotic and Classical Songs Competition: 07-02-2015
    Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah Kalaniketan conducted its 31st Competition in association with RVRR college of Education. The themes were:
    (i) Patriotic Songs
    (ii) Classical Singing
    Around 70 students participated from different high schools. Cash prizes, Mementos, Merit certificates were presented to winners. Consolation cash prizes and participation certificates were given to deserving candidates.

  • Visit to Dakshinya: 27-02-2015
    Our M. Ed. Students visited Dakshinya, an institution meant for mentally challenged children along with three staff members on 27-02-2015. The students took prior permission from administration of ‘Dakshinya’, and also the permission from our principal Prof. D. Bhaskara Rao.

    The vice- principal of ‘Dakshinya’ accompanied our students and took them to each and every room of the institution and explained about the various activities that are implemented in the process of education as well as rehabilitation. The M. Ed. students noted down the important aspects relating to mental retardation and finally our M. Ed. students distributed biscuits and fruits to the inmates of the institution and to the staff.

  • Swine Flu Awareness Rally: 13-02-2015
    The students of the college as a part and parcel of social service took up a rally to the nearby colony known as Swarna Bharathi Nagar. There they divided into groups, met the locals and explained about the disease, measures to prevent it. They also distributed homeopathic pills to the residence of Swarna Bharathi Nagar under the guidance of Principal and staff of the college

  • Women’s day: 17-3-2015
    Women’s day was observed on 17-3-2015 instead of 8-3-2015 as it was a holiday. Student expressed their views regarding to women empowerment. The staff advised the students to have cordial relationships among boys and girls.

  • M.Ed Farewell Day: 20-3-2015
    2014-15 batch M.Ed. students celebrated their college leaving day on 20/3/2015. Secretary and Correspondent advocated the students to adhere to the customs of teaching profession. Principal and staff well wished the students for bright future, buffet dinner followed.

  • Educational tour to Eluru: 23/3/2015
    2014-2015 batch B.Ed. students were taken to an educational tour to Eluru on 23/3/2015. Students and staff visited late GMC Balayogi Science Park. After having lunch they went to Carpet industry, later they visited the Ambica Darbar Bathi industry. Students learnt many things regarding science which have educational and vocational value.

  • Elocution Competition on Role of Teacher in existing Society: 6-4-2015
    An elocution competition was held to the students of B.Ed. course on role of teacher in existing society. Prizes were distributed to the winners.

  • ROSA Meeting: 8-4-2015
    RVR Old Students Alumni meeting was held on 8/4/2015 at 10.00 am in the college assembly hall. Dr. A.S Rama Krishna, MLC of teacher’s constituency was the chief-guest. He was a former Reader of the college and he addressed the gathering, remembered his experiences in the college. The members elected the executive committee for the year 2015-2016.

  • Base line Survey Training Programme: 21-4-2015
    The Volunteers of our college went to respective mandals to collect the data to the base line survey. They spent two days to collect and evaluate the data pertaining to secondary school students. T.A. & D.A was paid to the Volunteers.

  • Parent Teacher Association meeting: 30-4-2015
    A PTA meeting was held on 30-4-2015. The parents expressed satisfaction in the functioning of the college. The staff collected the feedback from the parents regarding the functioning of the college. PTA committee was elected by the attended members.

  • Program on Art of living from: 18 -6-2015 to 20-6-2016
    Y. Rama Devi, a disciple of Guru Ravi shankar, founder of Art of living conducted a yoga coaching to the B.Ed. students in three sessions on consecutive days from 18/6/2015 to 20/6/2015 The students practiced meditation and surya namaskara.

  • Blood Donation Camp
    Guest Lecture on Health Awareness: 23-06-2015

    The institution has arranged a guest lecture on “Health Awareness” to the students and staff in the college assembly hall with the cooperation of N.T.R Memorial Trust Blood Bank, Guntur on 23-06-2015 (Evening Session). Dr. K. Pavan of N.T.R Memorial Trust Blood Bank, Guntur acted as the resource person. He has discussed about the general health problems in an interactive manner and suggested some general health tips. He also motivated the students towards blood donation programme. The main intention of the programme was to develop health awareness among the students, staff members and other participants and to motivate the students and others towards blood donation programme.

  • Blood Donation Programme: 24-06-2015
    The institution has organized its Sixth blood donation camp in the college campus in association with N.T.R Memorial Trust Blood Bank, Guntur on 24-06-2015. This time 21students and one faculty member have donated their blood in the blood donation camp. Sri Gadde Mangaiah, Secretary and Correspondent of the college inaugurated the programme and Prof. D. Bhaskara Rao, Principal of the college gave message to the students about the importance of blood donation. Dr. Anuthya of N.T.R Memorial Trust Blood Bank, Guntur and her team has taken one packet (About 300 ml) of blood from the blood donors after examining their health condition. The main goal of this programme is to develop positive attitude towards blood donation among the students as “Donate blood and Save life” is the well known slogan of any blood donation programme.

  • Sport Meet: 9-7-2015 to 11-7-2015
    Intra Collegiate sports meet was conducted for three days from 9/7/2015 to 11/7/2015. The following games were conducted to the students: volley ball, kabaddi, cricket, musical chair, tennikoit, lemon & spoon, tug of war. Prizes were given to winners & participant certificates were given to all the participants.

  • Visit to Buddha Sri Archaeological Museum: 13-7-2015
    2014-1015 batch B.Ed. students were taken to Buddha Sri. Archaeological museum situated in Guntur. The students learnt about the artefacts and sculptures there. The staff of the museum explained about all the exhibits of the museum.

  • Farwell Day: 30-7-2015
    2014-2015 B.Ed. batch students celebrated their college leaving day. The secretary and correspondent of the college advised them to get the name and fame to themselves as well as to the college. A sumptuous dinner followed.

  • Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah Kalanikethan Competitions: 7/8/2015
    Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah Kalanikethan in association with RVRR College of Education conducted competitions in Mono Action and Fancy dress for secondary school children. A day long programme consisting of two levels of competitions in both the items were conducted. All the students were offered working lunch. Cash prizes, mementos, merit certificates and participant certificates were distributed to the winners.

  • Independence Day: August 15th 2015
    69th Independence Day Celebrations were conducted in the college campus. College Secretary and correspondent hoisted the flag and addressed the gathering.

  • Important Activities conducted during the academic year 2015-16


  • Heart fullness Meditation Programme: 29/10/2015 to 31/10/2015.
    T.Gopala Krishna Reddy from Ramachandra mission, Guntur conducted a three day meditation programme to the staff and students of RVRRCE. The students were activity participated and practiced the meditation.

  • Tour to Kethavaram: 11-12-2015
    Our college students and 8 staff members all together around 50 members went on an educational tour to Kethavaram fort and temple of god “lakshmi Narasimha Swamy”, one among the five important / famous Pancha Narasimha Kshetralu in the state. The temple & fort is going to submerge under the waters of Pulichintal Dam which is in near completion of its construction. The lecturer explained about the history of the fort presently which looked as ruins. Way back to Guntur, the students visited Dodla dairy near Sattenapalli. The Supervisor and the Assistant Manager explained about the Pasteurization process, Cream separation, butter making, bye-products like Doodh-peda, cheese, milk-cake,… The Management of the dairy offered chilled butter-milk to all the students and staff .The students who went on this trip enriched their Knowledge and enjoyed it a lot.

  • National Mathematics Day 22-12-2015
    National Mathematics was celebrated on 22-12-2014 by members of the mathematics club. On this occasion students gave speeches on contributions of different mathematicians in the development of mathematics and importance of mathematics.
