106th Birthday Celebrations of Vidwan Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah (04 – 01 – 2023)
On 04 – 01 – 2023, Sri Vidwan Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah 106th Jayanthi was celebrated in the campus at 10 a.m. On this occasion Dr Rayapati Srinivas, President of NES, Sri Rayapati Mohan Sai Krishna, Sri Vemana Kuppuswamy, Treasurer of the college, Sri Gadde Mangaiah, Secretary and Correspondent of the college, Principal Prof. M. Ravi kumar and other members who have association with vidwansrigoginenikanakiah garlanded and flowered the statue. After that they addressed the gathering and praised his services and good deeds to the field of education and society. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the different competitions conducted before day. Distributed refreshment to all the participants.
Sankranthi Sambaralu (07 – 01 – 2023)
A Cultural event, Sankranthi Sambaralu was celebrated in the college on 7th January 2023. As a part of this event, we conducted ‘Rangoli’ competition on 06th January,2023. On 7th January Sankranthi Sambaralu were started with the ‘BhgiMantalu’ by our Secretary & Correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah and Sri RavelaSambasiva Rao, Ex. Registrar, A.N.U. and his wife Smt Basava Punnamma, Ex. RJD. The girl students performed ‘Kolatam’ around BhogiMantalu in a traditional way. The students performed different cultural activities on this auspicious depicting epics, liveliness in the assembly hall. On this occasion, Secretary & Correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah, Sri Ravela Samba siva Rao garu, Principal Prof. M. Ravi Kumar addressed the gathering. Prizes were distributed to the winners of Rangoli competition by SmtRavela Basava Punnamma lastly Pongali was distributed to all the participants of the programme.
Garlanding to Kaviraju gari Statue (15 – 01 – 2023)
The members of Kaviraju Samithi and Sri Dokka Manikya varaprasad, MLC, Dr Papineni Sivasankar, poet, Recipient of Sahitya Academic Award, Secretary & Correspondent of the college Sri Gadde Mangaiah, Principal Prof. M. Ravikumar staff of the college and followers of kaviraju on 15th January on the remembered the kaviraju and his contributions to society through his literary works.
Republic Day Celebrations (26 – 01 – 2023)
74th Republic Day Celebrations were conducted in the college campus on 26th January 2023. Sri Gadde Mangaiah, Secretary & Correspondent of the college hoisted the flag and addressed the students with an inspiring message on nations patriotism. The principal & staff attended the programme and served with sweets.
National Science Day Celebrations (28 – 02 – 2023)
National Science Day was celebrated on 28thFeb, 2023 to commemorate the discovery of the ‘Raman effect' by Indian Physicist Sir C V Raman. On this occasion all the staff and students offered flowers to Sir C V Raman’s Photo. Staff and students gave speeches on Importance of science and Science Day. On this occasion an essay writing competition was conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners.
International Women’s Day (07-03-2023)
IWD was celebrated on 7th March 2023 in the institution. All the staff and students expressed their views on greatness of women, some students gave speeches on women empowerment and important role played by women in different fields. On this occasion college secretary & correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah delivered speech on importance of women in everyone’s life. Principal Prof. M. Ravi Kumar recollected the achievement done by women in India.
Appreciation to CTET qualifiers in 2022 (10-03-2023)
2022 B.Ed. batch students appeared for CTET 2022 examination and qualified with good score our management honoured them by giving prizes to appreciate and encourage the students.
Fresher’s Day Celebrations (04-04-2023)
Second year students of 2021 – 23 B.Ed. batch celebrated “Fresher’s day” function for welcoming 2022 – 2024 B.Ed. 1st year students. On this occasion senior’s shared their experiences and views about the college with juniors. Juniors introduced about them. At the end of the programme refreshments were arranged.
Sports Meet (18-04-2023)
Sports meet was conducted for seniors and juniors on 18-04-2023. On this day different sports and games like “Tennikoit”, “Tug of war” musical chairs, chess. Prizes were given to the winners and runners.
Farewell day Function (21-04-2023)
Juniors bid farewell to seniors on 21-04-2023. On this occasion both juniors and seniors shared their experiences and feelings. Juniors showed their love with small gift to seniors. Lunch was arranged to all the staff and students after cultural programmes.
Visit to Undavalli Caves and Vijayawada (29-04-2023)
On 29-04-2023 as a part of B.Ed. Curriculum all the 1st year and 2nd year students along with staff went to see the undavalli caves and science museum at Vijayawada.
Induction Programme for 2022 – 2024 B.Ed. Students on (21-07-2023)
An induction programme was conducted to the 2022-24 B.Ed. students to make the students aware of the rules, regulations and policies of institution. The purpose of this programme is to help new environment, inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution, help them build bonds with other students and faculty members and expose them to a scene of large purpose and self exploration. In this programme our college secretary & correspondent addressed the students and delivered the speech about the role and responsibilities of teacher in the present society. Principal Prof. M. Ravi kumar briefed the rules, regulations, cultural practise of the college. B.Ed. Course handbooks were distributed to all the students. Snacks were arranged to the students and staff members.
World Nature Conservation Day (28-07-2023)
On 28thJuly, 2023, the institution observed ‘World National Conservation Day’. The theme for ‘World Nature Conservation Day 2023’ is Forests and Livelihoods. Sustaining people and planet. On this occasion, an essay writing competition was conducted to the students on the theme of this day for this year prizes were given to the winners.
77th Independence Day Celebrations (15-08-2023)
Our institution celebrated 77th Independence Day on 15th August 2023. As a part of Independence Day celebrations we conducted competitions in games and sports. Our secretary and correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah hosted the flag and addressed the gathering. Prizes were given to the winners. Sweets were distributed to all the students and staff at the end of the programme.
Telugu Basha Dinotsavam (29-08-2023)
Telugu Basha Dinotsavam is celebrated on 29th August 2023 in our institution. Sri RavelaSambasiva Rao, Ex Registrar, Acharya Nagarjuna University is the Cheif Guest. On this occasion, he delivered a speech on origin of Telugu Language and its importance. Sri Gadde Mangaiah, Secretary and Correspondent, spoke on Telugu Literature in different periods. Mt M. Suneetha Faculty in Telugu gave welcome speech and about Sri Gidugu Rama Murthy and his contributions to Telugu Language. Principal Prof. M. Ravi kumar briefed about future of Telugu Language. The students sang song related to Telugu Language. This programme is ended with vote of thanks given by B.Ed. students.
National Teacher’s Day (05-09-2023)
National teacher’s day was celebrated on 5th Sep 2023. Our secretary and correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah delivered a speech about the role of teacher in nurturing the children’s life. Our principal Prof. M. Ravi kumar motivated the students to develop knowledge in their subject and teaching skills. All the staff members conveyed teacher’s day wishes. Students gave speeches on role and importance of teacher.
Late Sri Rayapati Venkata Ranga Rao Birthday Celebrations (15 – 10 – 2023)
We celebrated birth anniversary of Late Sri Rayapati Venkata Ranga Raoon 15th October 2023 in the institution on this occasion the president of NES, Dr Rayapati Srinivas garlanded the statues of Sri Rayapati Venkata Ranga Rao and SmtSitaravamma and remembered the services done by him to the society. College Secretary & Correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah, Principal Prof M Ravi Kumar & staff members offered flowers to the statues of Sri Rayapati Venkata Ranga Rao and his wife.
SEAS(State Educational Achievement Survey) Programme (03 – 11 – 2023)
The M.E.O of Guntur Mandal selected our students as field investigators for conducting SEAS programme in the Guntur city. To conduct this programme our students attended the training programme conducted by APSCERT on 31st October 2023. After training, our studentsactively participated in SEAS program and conducted the exam successfully on 3rd November 2023.

75th World Human Rights Day Celebrations (11 – 12 – 2023)
75th World Human Rights Day was Celebrated on 11 – 12 – 2023 by UNESCO Club of Guntur in association with our college. Sri Vunnava Shakin Kumar, Special status consultant member ECOSOC, United Nations, Geneva, Switzerland acted as chief guest. Sri Gadde Mangaiah Secretary & Correspondent of our college acted as guest of honour. Sri M Srihari, Principal, Bhashyam college of Education Guntur, Smt M Bhanumathi President Millineaum Mahila Club for UNESCO, Smt J Srinilatha, President AAP Human Rights Foundation and Principal of the college participated and delivered speeches about Human Rights and their importance. All the participants took the Human Rights Pledge.

One day Art and craft training programme (18 – 12 – 2023)
As a part of B.Ed. training, one day Art and craft training program was arranged for B.Ed. Students on 18th December 2023 to develop skills among the students. Smt T Syamala Devi, Teacher in Art & Craft, trained students in Fabric painting, Wall hanging, Tie & Dye. Our students brought their own materials. They prepared painting and Tie & Dye on clothes and one wall hanging with paper.
National Mathematics Day (22 – 12 – 2023)
As a part of Mathematics club Activities, the B.Ed. students celebrated National Mathematics Day on 22nd December 2023 in the commemoration of Indian Mathematician, Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan birthday. All the staff and students honoured the portrait of Ramanujanwith garland and flowers. Students and staff appreciated the work and contributions of Ramanujan to the field of Mathematics.
