  • Birthday Celebration of Vidwan Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah: 04-01-2022.
    On 04-01-2022 Vidwan Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah 105th Jayanthi was celebrated in our institution at 10.00AM. On this occasion Dr Rayapati Srinivas, President of NES, Sri Rayapati Mohan Sai Krishna, Secretary & Correspondent of the college Sri Gadde Mangaiah, Principal Prof Moturi Ravi kumar, and other members who have association with Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah Garu garlanded the statue. After that they addressed the gathering and praised his services and good deeds to the field of Education and Society. On that auspicious day, the institution distributed refreshments to the all the participents. The staff and students of B.Ed Course Participated actively and made the function grand success.

    New Year Day Celebrations: 01-01-2022.
    On 01st January 2022, New Year Day was celebrated in a grand manner. A big cake was cut by Secretary & Correspondent of our college. Sweets were distributed to all the members who participated in the event. Principal, Staff & Students exchanged greetings.

    Garlanding to Kaviraju gari Statue (15.01.2022)
    The members of Kaviraju Samithi garlanded the statue of Sri Kaviraju on the occasion of his birthday on 15.01.2022. The Secretary & Correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah, Principal Prof. M. Ravi Kumar along with staff members participated in this programme.

    Republic Day Celebrations (26.01.2022)
    73rd Republic Day was celebrated on 26th January 2022 on the college campus at 8 a.m. Our principal Prof. M. Ravi Kumar hoisted the national flag and addressed the gathering about the importance of republic day.

    FRESHER’S DAY CELEBRATIONS ( 22.2.2022)
    The B.Ed. (2020-22) students of the college were celebrated the fresher’s day on 22.2.2022. They welcomed the freshly joined first year students of 2021-23 B.Ed. to the college. On this occasion, old and new students interacted together. Our secretary and correspondent addressed the students and welcomed the new batch. Our principal Prof M. Ravi Kumar gave brief information about the course rules and regulations to be followed. The staff members wished the students performed different cultural programmes and made the function successful.

    SCIENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS (28.02.2022)
    National Science day was celebrated on 28th February 2022 in the campus on the occasion of Raman Effect Discovery by Sir C.V. Raman. On this occasion, the staff and the students offered their tributes with flowers to Sir C.V. Raman’s photo. The students sang a song related to Science and prizes were distributed to the winners. Secretary & Correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah delivered a speech on the importance of Science in day to day life. Principal Prof. M. Ravi Kumar gave a speech on Science Day. All the staff and students were participated in this programme. Sweets were distributed to all the participants.

    International Women’s Day Celebrations (08.03.2022)
    The college celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March 2022. On this occasion various games were conducted to the students. All the staff members expressed their views about women empowerment in the society. The students also shared their views about the status of women in the present society.

    World Water Day (22.03.2022)
    In 2022, World Water Day is celebrated under the theme “Ground water : Making the invisible visible”. On this occasion, the staff members narrated the importance of the day to the students and enlightened them about the current water crisis. The students gave speeches on how to control water wastage, how to preserve and conserve water effectively? The students participated actively in the programme.

    Ugadi Sambaralu (01.04.2022)
    A cultural event, Ugadi sambaralu was celebrated in the college on 01.04.2022. All the students participated in this event enthusiastically. On this occasion, Our alumni Sri K. Dasapathi Rao, Rtd DIET Principal, addressed the gathering and explained the importance of Ugadhi in our culture. The students shared their views on Ugadi. Principal Prof. M. Ravi Kumar talked about importance of celebrating the festivals like ugadi in the teacher training institutions. Our student, Ch. Bhramarembica performed classical dance. All the students prepared and distributed ‘Ugadi Pachadi’.

    Awareness Programme about ‘DISHA’ app (06.04.2022)
    On 6th April 2022, women constable from Disha Police Station, Nagarampalem visited our college and conducted an awareness programme on ‘Disha’ app. In this connection, they interacted with students and clarified their doubts about different problems faced by the women in the present society. They explained clearly the usage of ‘DISHA’ app.

    Group Discussion on ‘Modern Life Style’ (08.04.2022)
    As a part of ‘Understanding the self’ practicum in the 3rd Semester, we conducted group discussion on ‘Modern Life Style’ on 08th April 2022. In this discussion, students discussed about the Pros and Cons of modern life style. At the end of the discussion, they concluded that we must change our life style according to modernization without effecting our culture and values.

    Visit to Matrusri Children Home (12.04.2022)
    Our students visited Matrusri Children Home as a part of B.Ed. Curriculum. As a part and parcel of their academic activity for a project deals with ‘PCD’. They spend there almost a day. They interacted with the staff and observed all the academic activities of the home with the prior permission from the management of the institution. Biscuits and fruits were distributed to the children of home by our students.

    Visit to Kondapalli fort and High Court of A.P. (20.04.2022)
    The students and staff of the college went on an educational tour to kodapalli fort. On that day the students and the staff started their journey at 08:30 a.m. by engaging a travels bus and reached kondapalli fort and a small museum on the fort. They visited the parts of the fort like Rani Mahal, Jail, and Barracks etc. After the lunch, they visited the APCOST, Regional Science Centre, Vijayawada. The staff of science centre explained the scientific interacted with exhibits and gained hands on experiences that can be useful in their lives. While returning to Guntur we visited High Court of A.P. One of our faculty, Dr. K. Venkateswarlu explained the nature and duties of judicial officers. This visit helped the students to understand the working of High Court.

    International Yoga Day (21.06.2022)
    On 21st June, International yoga day was observed in the campus. All the staff and students participated in the programme with great enthusiasm. Warm up exercises were taken and all the students performed sitting and standing asana, importance of these were explained simultaneously. The celebration concluded with the speech by our Principal Prof. M. Ravi Kumar. He encouraged students to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration. Regular practice of yoga will surely help our students achieve a better life, Physically, Mentally and spiritually as well.

    75th Independence Day Celebrations (15.08.2022)
    Our college celebrated the 75th Independence Day on 15.08.2022 with great patriotic spirit and zeal. This programme started at 09:00 a.m. Our Secretary & Correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah hoisted the flag and addressed the students. Principal, staff and students participated in this celebrations. At the end of the programme sweets were distributed to the all participants.

    Telugu Basha Dinotsavam (29.08.2022)
    To commemorate the birthday of famous poet Gidugu Ramamurthy, we celebrated ‘Telugu Basha Dinotsavam’ on 29.08.2022. On this occasion our Secretary & Correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah shared his views on the need to protect and promote our Telugu language. Principal Prof. M. Ravi Kumar explained about the importance of Telugu language in understanding the basic concepts. Our Telugu faculty, Smt M. Sunnetha appreciated the contributions of Sri Gidugu Ramamurthy to Telugu language. The students expressed their views about the importance of Telugu language. The student’s teachers took the responsibility to help the language to its pinnacles.

    National Teacher’s Day (05.09.2022)
    National Teacher’s Day was observed on 5th September 2022, The birthday of Sri Sarvepalli Radhakrishna the second president of Independent India The college Secretary & Correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah advocated the trainee teachers to become good citizens first, then as good teachers. Prof. M. Ravi Kumar Principal, suggested disciplinary measures to be followed by teachers for further improvement in their careers. The staff and students gave speeches on life history of Sarvepalli Radha Krishna and teacher’s role in society. The students facilitated the Secretary, Principal & the faculty.

    Farewll Day (28.09.2022)
    The students of first year B.Ed. Course (2021-23) celebrated the farewell day on 28.02.2022 in a grand manner. They bid farewell to college leaving second year students of B.Ed. 2022-22. In the morning session the celebration started with a meeting. Dr Rayapati Srinivas, President, NES was the chief guest. The president for the function was Sri Veman Kuppuswamy, Treasure of the college, Sri Ravela Samabasiva Rao Ex. Registrar, ANU, Sri Vajja Ranga Rao, Rtd Professor, ANU, Principal and staff of the college attended the function. On this occasion, the chief guest Dr. Rayapati Srinivasa garu addressed the students how to become a good teacher and also a good human being. After that other dignities, Principal and staff members wished the students. The second year students expressed their experiences during the stay in the college. Endowment prizes were distributed to the last year merit students in the University Examination. Prizes were distributed for the winners in games, sports and different competitions conducted by the institution. After lunch, the students performed different cultural programmes.

    Awareness Programme on Waste Management (04.11.2022)
    Our college has been instilling a great civic sense amongst its students through various programmes. As a part of this, our college conducted an awareness programme with the support of 110 Sanitary & Health Dept Sachivalayam, Guntur on 4th November 2022. The main theme of this programme is ‘Waste Management’. The sanitary officers and volunteer of sachivalayam explained different aspects of waste management and made the students pledged to reduce, reuse and recycle of ‘Waste’.

    Group Discussion on NEP 2020 (17.12.2022)
    As a part of ‘ Understanding the Self’ Practicum in third semester, we conducted group discussion on ‘NEP 2020’ to second year B.Ed. students on 17.12.2022. The students actively participated and discussed about recommendations of NEP 2020. Finally they came up with same ideas about change of our education system in India to fulfil the requirements of the 21st Century after implementation of NEP 2020.

    Semi Christmas Celebrations (21.12.2022)
    Semi Christmas was celebrated in the college on 21.12.2022. The programme started with prayer song by the students. Our students explained the importance of Christmas followed by Scripture reading. They song melodious carols and chains to wish their lecturer and classmates. After cake cutting, staff and students expressed their greeting. The college Secretary & Correspondent Sri Gadde Mangaiah and Principal Prof. M. Ravi kumar gave the manage about the importance of semi Christmas and the teachings of Jesus Christ. The Christmas cake was distributed to all the participants. The special Santa – Claus moved around the programme and distributed gifts to the all participants. Several activities such as decorating Christmas tree, stocking, hand crafted balls were organised by the students. The even ended with closing prayer and vote of thanks and also wishes for Christmas & New Year.

    National Mathematics Day (22.12.2022)
    National Mathematics Day Was organised in the college on 22.12.2022 to the Birthday of Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan, the great mathematical genius who made exemplary contribution to mathematics. As a part of celebration, Principal Prof. M. Ravi Kumar, Smt Ch. Jalaja Kumari, other staff members and students offered their tributes with flowers and garlands to Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan’s Photo. After that principal and staff gave speeches on importance of mathematics in daily life and on life history of Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan. The students expressed their views on some of the great mathematicians.

    Dr Papineni Sivasankar’s Books release function (25.12.2022)
    Sri Somepalli Venkata Subbayya, President of Andhra Writers Association organised a book release function on 25.12.2022. In this function two books Loyalu – Sikharalu and Sarala rekhalu of Dr Papineni Sivasankar, famous poet, recipient of Sahitya Academi Award were released by the chief guest Sri Dokka Manikya Varaprasad M.L.C. Sri M. Ravi Krishna presided over the function. Sri M.V. Ramireddy and Smt. Uma Nutthaki introduced and reviewed the books. Sri Gadde Mangaiah Secretary & Correspondent of the college, Prof M Ravi Kumar Principal of the college, Sri Ravela Sambasiva Rao, Sri K. S. Lakshmana Rao, Sri P. Lakshminarayana and other literary people of the society attended in the programme.

    New Year Celebrations (31.12.2022)
    On 31.12.2022, New Year celebrations were conducted in a happy manner. The celebrations were started with cake cutting by the principal & the staff members and students exchanged their New Year greetings. Cake and sweets were distributed to all the students and staff members.
