  • Independence Day Celebrations: 15-08-2019
    The institution organised 73th Independence Day celebrations at 8 a.m. on 15th August 2019. The Secretary and correspondent of the institution Sri Gadde Mangaiah hoisted the National flag and addressed the students. Principal, Staff and students participated in the celebration. On this occasion sweets were distributed to the staff and students.

    Teacher’s Day Celebrations: 05-09-2019
    National Teacher’s day was observed on 5-9-2019 in the institution. On this occasion Secretary, Principal, staff and students gave speeches on ‘Sri Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s life history’ and ‘Role of Teacher in Society’. The students of the institution expressed their views on Teaching, Teacher and Teaching Profession.

    150th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Gandhiji: 11-10-2019
    As a part of Gandhiji’s 150th Birthday Celebrations on 11-10-2019, the staff and students of the institution garlanded the photo of Mahatma Gandhi. On this occasion, a seminar was organised on ‘Gandhian values’.

    Founder’s Day and Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah Kalaniketan Competitions: 15-10-2019 As a part of founder’s day celebrations, the institution conducted competitions for B.Ed. and D.Ed. students in essay writing, elocution and drawing on 14-10-2019. Prizes were distributed to the winners on 15-10-2019. Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah Kalaniketan, a cultural organization associated with the institution conducted ‘drawing’ and ‘mimicry’ competitions for high school students on 15-10-2019. Around 200 students from 26 schools participated in these competitions. Drawing competition was conducted under two categories - Juniors and Seniors and Mimicry for single category. Launch was served for all the participants. Prize distribution ceremony on the eve of Founder’s Day Celebrations started at 4.30 p.m. Dr. Rayapati Srinivas, President of Nagarjuna Education Society and the president of the institution presided over the function and Dr. I. Nageswara Rao, Principal, J.K.C College was the Chief guest. The chief guest distributed the prizes to the winners of the competitions. Sri Gadde Mangaiah, Secretary and Correspondent of the institution, Prof. D. Bhaskara Rao, Principal of the institution, staff and students of different schools, staff and students of B.Ed. D.Ed. Colleges were participated in the function and made the function a grand success.

    National Unity Day: 30-10-2019
    National Unity Day was observed on 30-10-2019. On this occasion, Prof. D. Basakara Rao, the Principal of the institution garlanded the portrait of Sri Sardar Valabhai Patel and addressed the students. All the staff and students took the National Integration oath. An essay writing competition was conducted on “Patel’s Role in Independent India”.

    Deeksharambh Programme: 08-11-2019
    The institution conducted Student Induction (Deeksharambh) Programme for the newly joined B.Ed.:2019-21 students as per the directions of U.G.C. The Sri Gadde Mangaiah, Secretary and Correspondent, Prof. D. Bhaskara Rao, Principal and Dr. Sudhakar Babu, Principal of J.C. College of Law addressed the students on this occasion. Later, the faculty of the institution gave orientation to newly joined students on B.Ed. programme.

    70th Indian Constitution Day: 26-11-2019
    The institution made arrangements for the students and staff to watch the live programme of celebrations of Indian Constitution Day at Central Hall of Parliament on 26-11-2019. On this occasion, the staff and students took constitution oath. An essay writing competition on “Indian constitution – Fundamental rights” was conducted to students on this occasion.

    Fresher’s Day Celebrations: 05-12-2019
    The institution celebrated the fresher’s day function on 05-02-2019. The senior students welcomed the newly joined students of B.Ed. 2019-21 to the college. Old and new students interacted with each other. The seniors advised the fresher’s on academics and other aspects relating to the college. Sri Gadde Mangaiah, the Secretary and Correspondent of the college spoke to the students about philosophy of the college management. The Principal and staff advised the new comers to strictly follow the rules and regulations of the institution. Sumptuous lunch was served to one and all. In the post lunch session, the students were performed different cultural programmes.

    Swatch Bharat Programme: 18-12-2019
    NCTE gave the instructions to conduct different activities in the institutions as a part of 150th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi throughout the year. In this connection, the institution conducted an essay writing competition on `Gandhian Values’ on 18-12-2019. In this programme, all the B.Ed. students were participated activity and cleaned their classrooms and college campus.

    Constitution of Mathematics Club and Celebration National Mathematics Day: 21-12-2019
    Mathematics club was reconstituted in the institution on 21-12-2019. Office bearers of the mathematics club were elected unanimously. Every year, the members of the mathematics club celebrate National Mathematics Day on 22nd December. This year, 22nd being a Sunday, the members of the mathematics club celebrated the National Mathematics Day on 21-12-2019. On this occasion, the principal, staff and students paid tributes to Srinivasa Ramanujan with flowers. Prof. D. Bhaskara Rao, Principal of the institution gave a valuable speech on ‘Human relations in the present day Society’. Prof. M. Ravi Kumar and Smt. Ch. Jalaja Kumari spoke to the students on objectives and activities of the mathematics club.

    Semi Christamas Day Celebrations: 23-12-2019
    The institution organised ‘Semi Christamas’ celebrations 23-12-2019. The programme started with prayer song. Sri K. Pullaiah, faculty member of the institution explained about the importance of Christmas festival. His speech was followed by scripture reading. The students sang melodious carols and choirs to wish their staff and friends. After cake cutting, staff and students expressed their greetings. The programme concluded with closing prayer and vote of thanks.

    New Year Day Celebrations: 01-01-2020
    New Year Day was celebrated in the institution in a happy manner. The celebrations were started with cake cutting by Sri Gadde Mangaiah, the Secretary and Correspondent of the college. Cake and sweets were distributed to all the students and staff. Principal, staff and students exchanged greetings on this new year day.

    Unveiling of Bronce Statue of Vidwan Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah: 04-01-2020
    Vidwan Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah, patron of the institution is a well known personality in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh for his contribution in the establishment of many schools and colleges in Guntur, Tadikonda and Vijayawada. He also played his role in the construction of some hospitals, bus shelters, water plants etc. for the welfare of people in the state of Andhra Pradesh. He played a key role in the promotion of culture by giving funds to cultural organizations. In commemorance of his services, the bronze statue of Sri Vidwan Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah was unveiled in the college premises on 04-01-2020. Sri Mandali Budha Prasad, former speaker, A.P. Assembly was the chief-guest. On this occasion, a meeting was conducted to recollect his endless services to the society. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Rayapati Srinivas, president of Nagarjuna Education Society. Sri Rayapati Sambasiva Rao , Ex. M.P., Narasarapet and Sri Rayapati Gopala Krishna, Secretary and Correspondent, R.V.R&J.C College of Engineering were the guests of honour. The staff and students of the educational institutions that were established by Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah were participated and recollected their experiences with him. The staff from different institutions of Nagarjuna Education Society also took part and shared their feelings on this occasion. The followers and admirers of Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah also participated in this programme and made the function a grand success. A photo gallery was arranged with important photographs which depicts the services of Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah. Refreshments were distributed to all the guests, staff, students and participants.

    Sankranthi Sambaralu: 09-01-2020
    A cultural event, Sankranthi Sambaralu was celebrated in the college on 09-01-2020. As a part of this event, the institution conducted `Rangoli’ competitions for girl students on 08-01-2020. On 09-01-2020, Sankranthi Sambaralu, a cultural festival was started with the “Bhogi Mantalu” by Dr. Rayapati Srinivas, President of Nagarjuna Education Society. The girl students performed “Kolatam” around Bhogimantalu in a traditional way. Dr. M. Sreedevi prepared “Pongali” (rice custard) with pure cow milk. Sri Gadde Mangaiah, Secretary of the institution, Prof. D. Bhaskara Rao, Principal of the institution, Sri V. Tandava Krishna & Sri A. Peddabbayya, the members of `Kaviraju Sahithi Samithi’, staff and students of the institution were participated in this programme. On this occasion, Dr. Rayapati Srinivas garu gave a cultural message to the gathering. Some of the students spoke on the importance of `Sankranthi’. Prizes were distributed to the winners of Rangoli competition followed by sumptuous lunch.

    Kaviraju Tripuraneni Sahithya Samaalochana: 22-01-2020
    The institution organised `Kaviraju Tripuraneni Sahithya Samalochana’ in association with Kaviraju Sahithi Samithi (K.S.S) on 22nd January, 2020 on the occasion of 133rd birth anniversary of Kaviraju. Sri Gadde Mangaiah, the Secretary and Correspondent of the institution presided over the function. The Secretary of KSS Sri Alokam Peddabbayya invited the guests on to the dias. Dr. V. Rajya Lakshmi, Rtd. Principal of Govt. Degree College, Chebrolu was the main speaker. Sri Bairapaneni Naresh, Advocate, High Court & President of KSS, Smt. R. Basava Punnamma, Rtd. R.J.D. for Intermediate Education, Sri Ravela Sambasiva Rao, Ex-Registrar, Dr. N.T.R. Health University, V. Tandava Krishna, Treasurer of K.S.S were participated as speakers. They spoke on `Literature of Sri Kaviraju and its relevance to present society’. The Programme was concluded by vote of thanks by V. Thandava Krishna. Prof. D. Bhaskara Rao, principal and the staff and students of the institution were participated in this programme.

    Republic Day Celebrations: 26-01-2020
    71st Republic day was celebrated on 26th January, 2020 in the institution at 8.00 a.m. Sri Gadde Mangaiah, Secretary and Correspondent of the institution hoisted the National flag. He gave a valuable speech on ‘Duties of a Citizen in democratic India’. Dr. D. Bhaskara Rao, principal of the institution, Staff and Students were participated in this programme. Sweets were distributed to all the staff and students.

    Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah Kalaniketan Silver Jublee Competitions: 29-01-2020
    On the occasion of Silver Jubilee celebrations of Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah Kalaniketan, competitions were conducted to the secondary school students (8th, 9th and 10th classes) in drawing, Patriotic singing, classical and folk group dances. The programme was started with registration at 9 o’clock on 29th January, 2020. 152 students from 20 schools of Guntur District were participated in the above competitions. Lunch was arranged to all the participants. The prize distribution function was started at 4 O’clock in the evening. Dr. Rayapati Srinivas, Ex. M.L.C., President of Sri Gogineni Kanakaiah Kalaniketan and Nagarjuna Education Society presided over the function. Somepalli Venkata Subbaiah, president, A.P. story writers association was invited as chief guest and Sri Rayapati Gopala Krishna, Secretary of R.V.R & J.C. College of Engineering was invited as guest of honor. Prizes were distributed to the prize winners by the chief guest and guest of honour, Judges and members of Kalaniketan. Judges of the competitions were facilitated on this occasion.

    National Girl Child Day: 24-1-2020
    National Girl Child Day of Indian was observed on 24-01-2020 in the institution. In this context, the institution conducted a competition 2nd year B.Ed. students on writing `Quotes on Girl Child’. All the students were participated in the competition very enthusiastically. Useful books were distributed as prizes for the selected quotes.

    International Women’s Day Celebrations: 07-03-2020
    The institution organised ‘Women’s Pride Walk’ on 07-03-2020 on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Prof. Digumarti Bhaskara Rao, Principal of the institution started the rally by addressing the gathering about the importance of Women’s Day. All the staff and students were participated in the pride walk. The students of the institution were very enthusiastically participated in the rally with placards and slogans.

    Visit To Jana Sikshana Samsthan And Other Self Employment Training Centres for Women: 17-03-2020
    The institution organised a trip for second year students of B.Ed.:2018-20 to make a visit to ‘Jana Sikshana Samstan’, ‘Jaya’s Navarang Botique for cloth printing and dying’, ‘Sri Gruha foods & Pickle manufacturing unit’ and ‘Sri Lakshmi Maggam Works, a handicraft unit’. This activity provided an opportunity to the students to get exposure to skill training.
